a quick reversal for spiritual maintenance

keyword “quick” in this context refers to the results of how you feel after this is done. it may be indicated to you that your spiritual court wants you to do another reversal (either over three, five, seven, or nine nights) - always do divination after to make sure!

what you will need:

• a cup of water

• a white candle

• a carving tool

• a metal plate

what you will do:

1. fill up the cup of water. walk around your space as you hold the water praying for all mal de ojo/evil eye that is self generated or thrown at you to be picked up by the cup. use this moment to really ground yourself in the intention of this reversal work. continue this until you’ve walked around the space counter clockwise 3 times.

2. grab the metal plate and place it on top of the cup of water. then flip the cup while holding/securing the plate over it. ***visual —> the plate should be on the bottom and the cup should be upside down right on top of it***

3. now take your candle and rub the candle all over yourself from the top of your head to the tip of your toe. pray for all negativity and mal de ojo/evil eye that is self generated or thrown at you to be removed. use this moment to focus the candle over any part of your body you feel could benefit from the reversal/connected to your intention of prayer. ***visual —> if you feel like your feelings of confidence is being affected focus on rubbing the candle over your stomach, if you feel you need the reversal for your thoughts/mindset focus on rubbing the candle on your head***

4. once you feel ready and have reached a natural stopping point, flip the candle in your hand to where the pointy side is on the bottom and the flat side is on top. then slam the candle 3 times or until the pointy slide flattens a little bit. ***visual —> you’re slamming the candle’s pointy side until it’s relatively flat, so a good 3 slams is enough***

5. grab your carving tool and carve the flat side of the candle until the wick is exposed enough to be lit. you can throw out the pieces of wax that fall out. ***visual —> you are carving the flat side of the candle so it looks like a point of a regular candle with the wick sticking out***

6. grab the candle and hold it so the flatten side is on the bottom and the side you just carved out to make a point is on top. melt the newly flattened side onto the flipped cup (look at the bottom of the cup as a lil surface for the candle). ***visual —> the flatten side is melted on the bottom of the flipped cup***

7. grab matches and light the carved side and let it burn in the outer most corner of your space that’s closest to the door. ***PLEASE PRACTICE FIRE SAFTEY AND MAKE SURE NOTHING FLAMMABLE IS NEAR THE FLAME!***

8. once finished discard of the water either out your window or down the toilet.

9. now you’re done :) as the days follow, be very attentive to yourself and try to keep a cool head.

10. i recommend doing this on a tuesday, but whenever you feel like you need it just do it. always follow up with divinations with your folks to assess what has been removed or revealed to you.
